InformationTitleRecently Released - August 2026: Enhanced Sender ID registration and deliveryURL Namerecently-released-august-2026AnswerAugust 2026 product updates This month, we made Sender ID registration and billing easier to manage, introduced smarter filtering and rate visibility, and improved delivery across SMS, WhatsApp and RCS. New features Manage Australian alphanumeric Sender ID fees Direct Australian customers can now view and manage alphanumeric Sender ID charges within Kudosity. Each Sender ID has a: $25 one-time setup fee $1 monthly fee Both charges apply when a Sender ID is first activated. Renewals and reactivations only the monthly fee only. Ie. The setup fee does not recur. Pricing is displayed before registration and itemised before activation. Customers also receive a receipt and lifecycle notifications covering activation, renewal and expiry. The Senders table now displays each Sender ID’s monthly fee, next charge date and available actions. View messaging rates by country A new Rates tab on the Billing page makes it easier to review message rates by destination. MMS rates are also shown where available. Register a New Zealand short code more easily New Zealand customers selecting Add Sender > Virtual Number are now directed to the correct New Zealand Sender ID registration form. The country is selected automatically, removing the previous out-of-stock or contact-support steps. New Zealand supports short codes rather than standard virtual mobile numbers. Smarter Sender filters with live counts Filters on My Senders and Client Senders now show only relevant values, together with the number of matching Sender IDs. Filters use: AND between different categories OR between selections in the same category Selected values remain visible with a count of zero if another filter removes their matches. More detailed RCS delivery updates RCS webhooks now provide more granular delivery statuses and failure reasons, giving API customers better visibility into what happened to each message. New WhatsApp notifications and activity details Account holders now receive an email when: A WhatsApp message template is approved A WhatsApp Business Account is provisioned WhatsApp activity records also have a new details page with clearer failure reasons on the message timeline. Enhancements Improved opt-out link delivery Opt-out links for messages sent through Send SMS, Campaigns and the v2 API now use unsub.cx. The new domain helps prevent messages from being incorrectly placed in the Spam & blocked folder in Google Messages. It is the same length as the previous domain, so it does not affect SMS character or segment counts. Clearer Sender ID lifecycle controls Expired alphanumeric and personal-number senders are now blocked at send time and removed from the available sender list in Campaigns, Quick SMS and Email-to-SMS. This helps prevent accidental sends from inactive Sender IDs. Consistent alphanumeric Sender IDs Duplicate alphanumeric Sender ID records have been consolidated, improving consistency across sending, billing and reporting. Some customers may notice that a Sender ID’s capitalisation has changed to match its ACMA registration. No action is required, and delivery, billing and API behaviour are unaffected. Improved RCS reliability We’ve strengthened RCS delivery processing so failed sends reach a clear final status. Reporting can also recover missing hourly statistics, while RCS-to-SMS fallback traffic is managed more consistently. Stronger link security Tracked-link and opt-out-link domains now require modern TLS encryption. Integrations restricted to older TLS versions will need to be updated. Improved platform security We’ve completed further dependency updates and security improvements to strengthen the protection of customer accounts and messaging activity.
