InformationTitleRecently Released - June 2026: SMS Sender ID Register featuresURL Namerecently-released-june-2026AnswerRecently Released - June 2026 This month, we introduced new tools to help Australian customers prepare for the SMS Sender ID Register, strengthened message delivery and made billing and account management clearer. New features Check your Sender ID registration status It’s now easier to confirm whether an Australian alphanumeric Sender ID is registered with the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). The ACMA Verified status is available in the Senders table, filters and CSV exports. Parent accounts can also view the status of Sender IDs belonging to their client accounts. Get proactive Sender ID compliance warnings New in-app warnings help Australian customers identify and manage unregistered alphanumeric Sender IDs. Customers are alerted when they have Sender IDs requiring attention and can navigate directly to a filtered list. When applicable, a warning also explains when a message will be sent using Unverified instead of the selected Sender ID. Sender ID overstamping for Australia, Singapore and Ireland To support local regulatory requirements, messages sent using an unregistered or unverified alphanumeric Sender ID may now display an alternative sender name: Unverified in Australia Likely-SCAM in Singapore Likely Scam in Ireland The message will still be sent and charged normally, but recipients cannot reply to an overstamped message. For messages sent through the v2 SMS API in Australia, the response identifies when a message has been routed using Unverified. Customise verification SMS for reseller accounts Reseller accounts can now choose the Sender ID used for activation and verification messages. A registered virtual number or alphanumeric Sender ID can be selected under Account Settings > White Labelling. This setting applies to verification messages and does not change the Sender ID used for customer campaigns. Protect personal information in transition notifications Accounts can now redact personal information from operator transition emails and transition reviews, providing greater control over how customer information is displayed. Check whether a device supports RCS New RCS capability-check endpoints let API customers confirm whether a recipient’s device supports RCS before sending: POST /v2/rcs/capabilities POST /v2/rcs/capability-check/query Enhancements Clearer billing and payment notifications New notifications help customers take action when: An automatic top-up enters a cooldown period after a failed payment A daily credit limit is reached Repeated payment attempts are unsuccessful Tax invoices are now sent to the account’s nominated billing email. We have also improved invoice email deliverability and added email-format validation to the Billing Email field. More control when campaign credit is low Campaigns with insufficient credit now display a top-up flow, helping customers add credit and continue their send. Clearer billing information The Billing page now displays No Limit when an account has no daily top-up limit. Ledger transaction descriptions have also been made easier to understand. Easier custom track-link management Legacy custom domains that were not migrated to the current tracked-link service have been removed. New messages from affected accounts will use a Kudosity-managed domain. Previously sent links will continue to work, and customers can configure a new custom domain at any time. Improved backend message delivery We’ve strengthened backend message processing and platform resilience to support more consistent delivery, including during maintenance and periods of high demand. Faster, more reliable conversations Performance improvements help conversations load more reliably, particularly for accounts managing high message volumes. Stronger payment and account security Additional safeguards help prevent duplicate payment profiles, cross-account payment errors and unauthorised access to exported information. Fixes Prevented campaigns and failed bulk sends from being charged when no messages were successfully sent. Prevented automatic top-ups from charging twice when multiple recharge requests occurred at the same time. Corrected virtual-number lease behaviour when an account has insufficient credit. Fixed duplicate tracked-link errors and missing campaign click activity. Fixed login and navigation issues affecting resellers using Login as Client. Restored visibility of the Terms of Service Accept and Decline buttons. Fixed missing creation dates for Sender IDs. Corrected an Activity page discrepancy that could display a different campaign count from the Billing page. Resolved an upstream delivery timeout affecting an SMS route.
